US Blacklists Alibaba, Baidu, BYD for Alleged Links to Chinese Military
The United States has expanded its blacklist of companies it says support China's military, adding some of the most prominent Chinese technology and manufacturing firms: BYD, Alibaba and Baidu. While the designation does not impose direct sanctions, it restricts the US Department of Defense from entering into contracts with or purchasing products from the companies on the list.
