Authorities in Taiwan have launched investigations into 17 Chinese-linked firms suspected of illegally poaching Taiwanese high-tech talent. The justice ministry says investigators raided dozens of locations and interviewed more than 100 people over the past month, finding that Chinese companies often conceal their identities to recruit Taiwanese workers amid the AI boom.
