Prosecutors Search KMT Headquarters in Taichung
Prosecutors have searched the opposition Kuomintang's headquarters in Taichung City in central Taiwan, with several staffers taken in for questioning. This comes after several other KMT offices were raided for alleged recall forgery, but authorities did not say whether the latest search is related to recall fraud. Update: Taichung prosecutors revealed later on Friday they have also searched other properties and questioned individuals for alleged forgery in recall campaigns against KMT lawmakers.
