China Is Increasing Its Gray-Zone Activity at Sea, Says Minister
Taiwan’s Ocean Affairs Council minister says Beijing has stepped up gray-zone activity in waters around Taiwan, with the coast guard tracking around 2,000 Chinese vessels last year. She urged lawmakers to pass President Lai's special defense budget, which would allow the coast guard to expand its purchase of drones for maritime defense.
