Physical Standards Changed for Military Service Exemptions in Taiwan
Taiwan’s defense ministry says it’s going to make it harder for young men to get an exemption from mandatory military service. In the future, only men of serving age with a BMI higher than 45 or a height below 144 cm will be exempt.
