Taiwan App Detects Cardiac Condition
A Taiwanese university and company have developed a smartphone app to detect a condition characterized by an irregular and often very fast beating heart. They hope Rhythm App will help to better identify people who suffer from atrial fibrillation, which can lead to blood clots in the heart. Louise Watt reports.
