104 Job Bank says the chip industry has been recruiting an average 47,000 people per month this year. And of those jobs, roughly a quarter are related to AI. For some job types, the website says there are over 12 vacancies listed for each eligible job seeker. And Taiwan's chipmakers have been expanding their manufacturing abroad. That is reflected in vacancies. Opportunities listed in Taiwan for jobs in the United States and Canada have increased rapidly – again, according to the platform.
