Golden Horse Winner Lai Cheng-ying Dies at 95
Taiwan’s film industry is mourning the death of veteran cinematographer Lai Cheng-ying, who died at age 95. Known as “Lai Sang,” he witnessed and shaped the transition from black-and-white to color film and won three Best Cinematography awards at the Golden Horse Awards.
