Rescued Green Sea Turtle Returns to Ocean After Two-Year Recovery on Land
A green sea turtle has been returned to the sea after a long recovery on land. The turtle, who rescuers named Scone, was found floating at sea in waters off Taiwan's outlying Penghu Islands. It had injuries across its shell and fishhooks in its body. After months of rehabilitation, Scone is back home and outfitted with a tracking device to allow conservationists to follow its next chapter.
