South Korea Presidential Candidate Withdraws From Race
South Korean presidential candidate Ahn Cheol-soo has announced his withdrawal from the election race. He has formed a united ticket with the other opposition conservative candidate, Yoon Suk-yeol. The decision to unite South Korea’s two strongest opposition party candidates comes less than a week before polling day, in an election where affordable housing, inequality and relations with North Korea are taking center stage.
