Fine Dining Restaurant Launches Subscription System for At-Home Experience
Many fine dining restaurants sought to reduce losses during the epidemic by offering fine dining takeout and delivery services. However, they were only able to attain 30% to 40% of their previous revenue. The restaurant Embers proposed a new strategy and launched a subscription system in collaboration with several restaurants and local farmers after three weeks of planning. Members receive different ingredients and semi-finished products each week. They can watch video, audio, and live stream tutorials online and prepare meals by themselves at home. It also helps restaurants continue to communicate its ideas and values and engage consumers when they were forced to close due to the epidemic.
