Legend - Master of Temple Art: Lin Ngog-lu Ep8
One of the most striking characteristics of Taiwan’s temples is their Buddhist and Taoist murals, which mostly portray stories of loyalty, filial piety, chastity, righteousness, and the gods. One of the most significant temple artists is Master Lin Ngog-lu, who twice participated in the painting and renovation of the Miaoli Temple. Commenting on his work, Lin said that arrangement and likeness are the hardest to master.
