Gaza Residents Rebuild Gym in Khan Younis After Ceasefire
Six months into a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, residents of Khan Younis in southern Gaza are rebuilding their lives in the ruins of war. A group of young Palestinians has restored a gym inside a bombed-out building, using damaged equipment to train and cope with trauma. The UN estimates more than 80% of buildings in Gaza were damaged or destroyed during the conflict, with Khan Younis among the hardest-hit areas.
