The Safest Man in Taiwan
This electric ‘traffic dummy,’ or flagman, clad in a reflective vest, colorful helmet, and waving a red flag or baton, can be keeping construction sites across Taiwan safe all day, every day. It reminds nearby citizens to exercise caution when passing by. Chen Yun-tian, the general manager of Jing Shuenn Industrial Ltd., claims he made the first modular electric flagman in Taiwan, where various types have been used for safety purposes over the past 20 years.
