Yilan Bridge Reopens 3 Years After Deadly Collapse

After a series of delays in its construction, an 800-meter-long bridge at Nanfang'ao in the northeastern county of Yilan has officially opened. It replaces a bridge that collapsed in 2019 due to poor maintenance, killing 6 people. The port company that oversaw the original bridge says it can't guarantee it will carry out checks on the new one.
