Economy Minister: Taiwan Wants To Keep US Tariff Deal Terms
Taiwan’s economy minister, Kung Ming-hsin, says Taipei and Washington aim to preserve earlier tariff deal progress while seeking equal or better terms if the US offers improved conditions to other countries. He also noted upcoming talks with US officials on tax relief as a recent US Supreme Court ruling on tariffs adds uncertainty to the deal agreed earlier this year.
