Rubio: Maduro Capture Has No Impact on China’s Invasion Plans for Taiwan
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has told a congressional hearing that Washington's operation in Venezuela and capture of Nicolas Maduro earlier this month will not have changed China's calculus on taking Taiwan. A US senator further said Beijing's recent purge of top general Zhang Youxia could have a greater impact on China's invasion plans.
