Following the recent US move to block new foreign-made drone models, Taiwan’s leading manufacturers are recalibrating their strategies. At a major industry forum in Taipei, Acer founder Stan Shih suggested firms could move production to the US while keeping R&D in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Thunder Tigerm Group president Gene Su said their systems are already on the US "Blue UAS" list, providing a protected pathway into the American defense market.
