VP Emphasizes U.S.-Taiwan Shared Interests Amid Tariff Talks

Speaking to foreign reporters in Taipei, Taiwan Vice President Bi-khim Hsiao said the country is pushing to reach a trade agreement with the U.S. on tariffs by August 1. She also emphasized the longevity of U.S.-Taiwan relations and the two countries' shared interests.
