A second round of in-person trade negotiations between Taiwan and the U.S. has held in Washington, D.C. Economists in Taiwan say if negotiators play their cards right, they should be able to talk the U.S. down from the 32% reciprocal tariff the Trump administration has threatened on most of its goods.
