Taiwan Opposition Politicians Attend Cross-Strait Forum
The annual Straits Forum was held over the weekend in China. Multiple Taiwan opposition politicians attended, and at least one met with a high-level Chinese Communist Party official. Despite Taipei prohibiting government officials from participating, one local official sent a pre-recorded video that was played at the forum.
