Taiwan Condemns China Coast Guard Patrol off East Coast
Taiwan's coast guard has condemned a Chinese patrol in Pacific waters off the east coast, saying national sovereignty cannot be infringed on. The patrols are an assertion of Chinese claims over waters in the area as Japan and the Philippines plan talks on a maritime boundary in the same region.
