Taiwan Issues Warrant for CEO of Chinese Smartphone Maker OnePlus
Taiwan has issued an arrest warrant for OnePlus CEO Pete Lau over alleged illegal recruitment of Taiwanese talent. Two Taiwanese nationals have also been indicted. Prosecutors say Lau hired over 70 engineers in Taiwan and moved funds without approval, violating cross-strait laws. OnePlus says its business operations remain unaffected.
