Taiwanese Singers, Actors Warned Over Sharing CCTV Pro-Unification Posts
23 Taiwanese entertainers have received verbal warnings from the Mainland Affairs Council for sharing pro-unification posts from a Chinese state-run broadcaster. The MAC said sharing the posts could be considered "cooperation" with the Chinese government and violates the Cross-Strait Act. Many of the entertainers said that their social media accounts were run by agents, but the MAC said that the individuals agents represent still need to take responsibility.
