National Development Council Sets 2026 Economic Growth Goal Above 4.5%
Taiwan’s National Development Council has set its 2026 economic growth target at 4.56%, with GDP per capita projected to reach US$42,170. Despite remaining challenges, especially regarding the prospects for traditional industries as compared to the tech sector, the government remains optimistic.
