Taiwan Remains on US Currency Manipulation Watch List
The US Treasury is keeping Taiwan on its currency manipulation watch list, alongside Japan and South Korea, with Thailand newly added. However, the US Treasury found no evidence that major trading partners have manipulated their currencies. Taiwan’s central bank, which pledged last year to avoid such practices, has yet to comment on the decision.
