Taiwan’s foreign minister, Lin Chia-lung, has wrapped up his Central America trip and is reportedly heading to the US to open Taiwan’s new representative office in Phoenix.
Taiwan’s Liberty Times says Lin plans to visit TSMC’s Arizona plants and meet with local officials. TaiwanPlus reached out to the foreign ministry to confirm the reporting but has not received a reply at the time of broadcast.
Lin met with Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo on Friday, marking 92 years of diplomatic ties and promoting cooperation among Taiwanese, US and Guatemalan companies in the tech and health sectors.

Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung has wrapped up his Central America trip and is heading to the US to open Taiwan’s new representative office in Phoenix.
