Urban Heat Islands Present Growing Health Threat in Taiwan's North
Officials say summers have gotten hotter as heat islands in the country's northern urban areas continue to expand. The government is now advising residents to stay out of the sun on hot days and fining employers who don't provide their workers with adequate shelter.
