Heavy Plum Rains Could Alleviate Drought in Taiwan

Plum rains, which typically fall between May and June each year, have brought much awaited rainfall to Taiwan. The country has been experiencing a historic drought, but meteorologists worry that long-term climate instability means this year's plum rains may not alleviate the problem.
