Ryuichi Sakamoto's World of Sound and Time Comes to Taipei

The immersive exhibition Seeing Sound, Hearing Time, envisioned and co-directed by renowned Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, has opened at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. Developed from the final chapters of Sakamoto’s artistic legacy, the exhibition has continued to evolve since his death in 2023 through collaborations with fellow artists and presentations around the world. The show explores Sakamoto’s long-running interest in sound, time and the possibilities beyond traditional music. Please note: General visitors to the exhibition are only allowed to photograph three designated artworks.
