Is the Taiwanese Language at Risk of Dying Out?
Taiwan’s government recognizes 22 national languages, but recognition doesn't necessarily prevent extinction. For speakers of Taiwanese Hokkien, they worry the tongue their ancestors brought over from China is in danger of dying out.
