Late Ambassador Lyushun Shen's Diplomatic Journey
Ambassador Lyushun Shen, who passed away in 2023, was one of the first generation of diplomats trained and cultivated in Taiwan after the Chinese Civil War. Although Shen didn’t keep a diary in his lifetime, his sister Shen Tung worked with veteran journalist Hsing-yin Hsieh to unpack her older brother’s personal stories and diplomatic views in a book based on over 150 of his op-eds and articles in an interview with Zoom In Zoom Out host Isabel Wang.
