Destination Paris Episode 3 – Last Dance
The countdown to the Paris Olympics has begun, and Taiwanese athletes are set to show what they’re made of on the world stage once again. This episode of TaiwanPlus - Destination Paris focuses on some of Team Taiwan’s most experienced athletes, some of whom will be competing in the Olympic games for the final time. These include household names: Hsieh Su-wei, who is based in Paris and is eager to compete in her adopted home. Kuo Hsing Chun, who is a dominant figure in weightlifting, is set to make her fourth Olympic appearance. Lee Yang and Tai Tzu-Ying, who are competing in their final games, look to win gold on the badminton court. With a talented team and plenty of support, the Taiwanese public will be hoping for a successful last hurrah for some of the country’s best in Paris.
