Destination Paris Episode 1 - Looking Back on Tokyo 2020
The countdown for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has begun! Athletes from around the world are making last-minute preparations in the run-up to their events. In this episode of Destination Paris we’ll look back on Chinese Taipei’s achievements during the 2020 Tokyo Games. The games saw Taiwanese Olympians rack up the highest medal tally in their country's Olympic history. Taiwan’s team of 68 athletes — 33 men and 35 women — participated in 18 sports and competed in 57 events. They succeeded in securing a total of 12 medals: 2 golds, 4 silvers, and 6 bronzes, placing Taiwan 34th among teams from around the world.
