Traveling Through Brush and Ink: "Emperor Minghuang's Journey to Shu"
The painting entitled "Emperor Minghuan's Journey to Shu" tells the story of the Emperor fleeing his capital at Chang'An after the An Lushan Rebellion. The image is divided into three panels by the rising peaks in the landscape, showing the Emperor's arrival, merchants, and other travelers on their journey. The colors of blue, green, and ochre make it a traditional "blue-green" landscape painting.
