Professional silk farmer Master Tu Can-min started working in sericulture in 1978 when the government implemented a subsidy program for the industry. At that time, sericulture was a vibrant industry in Taiwan. However, many silk farms had to close down as the industry transformed. Master Tu carried on and even upgraded his operation into an ecological farm. In this documentary, we take an intimate look at his endeavors to pass down his business to his son in a declining industry.
