Lithuania’s foreign minister is on his way to the U.S. in the wake of China’s downgrading of diplomatic ties with the Baltic country. Beijing’s move was a consequence of Lithuania allowing the opening of a “Taiwanese” representative office, the first in Europe to use the word "Taiwanese" rather than “Taipei.” To discuss the trip, Yin Khvat spoke to Marcin Jerzewski, a research fellow at the think-tank Taiwan NextGen Foundation.
