F-16V Bolsters Taiwan's Defense
Taiwan unveiled the first squadron of its most advanced version of the F-16 fighter at a ceremony led by President Tsai Ing wen on Thursday at Chiayi Air Force base. The move to retrofit a total of 141 fighter jets makes Taiwan the first country in the world to have such aircraft combat ready. It comes at a time when tensions in the Taiwan strait are at historic highs, Jaime Ocon has this report.
