Gua Bao - The Taiwan Way
Chris, the co-founder of Taiwanese restaurant Yumpling based in NYC, travels back to Taiwan in search of inspiration for his new dumpling menu. His first stop is the Michelin-starred Din Tai Fung, where he indulges in both savory and sweet Xiao Long Bao. In addition to high-end gourmet restaurant, Chris navigates the alleys of Taiwan and encounters a classic street food—Gua Bao. With the help of veteran Gua Bao maker and food entrepreneur, Chris explores the traditional recipe as well as modern incarnation of Gua Bao.
