Taiwan’s Largest Camping Haven - Camping with Dogs Ep7
The dogs are off to coffee country! Guoxing Township, Nantou has some of the best beans in Asia. The gentle aftertaste and honeysweet aroma of a cup of warm coffee is the perfect start to a carefree weekend at the largest camping area in Taiwan. The Atayal Resort is themed on Atayal culture and is divided into 23 different areas for rest and relaxation. The nearby Bridge Towering into the Sky is a ten-hectare highway garden located under the Guoxing Interchange on National Highway No. 6. Everyone enjoyed looking at the various topiaries made of plants from the top to the bottom of the entire overpass. Daji, Dali, and Wanwan settled into under a shady tree while Hsiao Ting and Micki set up the tent. Our furry friends enjoyed a brisk game of fetch across the lush campsite before a quick water break and some dinner. The girls got the fire going just in time for their own tasty barbeque complete with roasted marshmallows. A leisurely sunrise at the Resort Skywalk following morning was the perfect place to recharge as the adventure continues.
