Unwind in the Woods at this Camping Retreat - Camping with Dogs Ep9
The dogs are climbing to the top of a waterfall! Indigenous Paiwan and Rukai communities make their home in Sandimen in the north of Pingtung County. This area produces a wide variety of local crops like the cranberries and red quinoa used to make European-style bread. Sajia Paradise is a campsite covering an area of 8.36 hectares. The forest area is divided using three different kinds of trees to enjoy a breath of fresh air while looking up at the canopy. Daji, Dali, and Wanwan perk up at the sound of juicy steak frying in the cast iron skillet. Hsiao Ting and Niki are just as excited since everyone will be having dinner together tonight. Our furry friends need the energy to enjoy a brisk night walk along the water. The puppies decide to come back early though to get ready for tomorrow’s hike to Dajin Waterfall. Dajin Waterfall is cascading in the distance like a sheet of white silk hanging from the cliff. Step by step, paw after paw, our brave hikers begin climbing the stairway to the top. Breathtaking panoramic views unfurl along the way and finally open upon a secluded corner of the forest. Hsiao Ting and Nicki are all smiles as the pups splash around and take a well-deserved break!
