The climate simulation system "Moses" has an emergency breakdown. JP believes it needs more data and goes to Taiwan with Allen to retrieve coral samples. Meacy brings Jamie to Antarctica to get ice core, which offers direct climate information. But Meacy and Jamie are shocked to see mass penguin deaths in Antarctica as climate change has made it harder for penguins to survive. The two teams manage to bring back the ice core and coral, hoping to supply "Moses" sufficient information for proper operation.
