See You at the Market 2 - Ep. 1: Kanziding and Renai Markets in Keelung
Keelung is Taiwan's northernmost city. Running alongside the Asahikawa Canal, the Renai Market dates all the way to 1909 during Japanese rule. Formerly known as the 'Big Market,' it was the city's largest wholesale produce market. Alongside Renai is the Kanziding Fish Market, equally as old as Keelung continues to be the country's main port that directly faces the Pacific Ocean. We take you on a tour of the dazzling morning auction along with the port city's long, rich history and cuisine.
