Dattalion – meaning data battalion – is an open-source database of photographs, videos, and testimonies documenting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that can be used by journalists, governments, and war crime investigators. A team of female professionals set up the website, and reporter Rik Glauert spoke to one of their founding members – an IT businesswoman who has asked to keep her identity hidden.
