Amnesty Calls Russian Siege of Mariupol a 'War Crime'

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has said Russian forces have turned the port city of Mariupol to ‘dust’, with Amnesty International concluding that Moscow has committed ‘war crimes’ in the city. Ukrainian and Russian officials are in Turkey ahead of the first face-to-face talks in weeks. But as James Chater reports, the ferocity of Russia’s bombardment means hopes for a ceasefire are slim.
