Two weeks before the invasion started, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s approval ratings stood at about 20 percent, as a war with Russian-backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine dragged on. TaiwanPlus reporter Louise Watt spoke to Mikhail Alexseev, a political scientist at San Diego State University, and asked him how Ukrainians view their president now.
