Taiwan Science Parks Post Record US$111 Billion Revenue in Year's First Half

Taiwan’s three largest science parks generated a record combined revenue of more than US$111 billion in the first half of the year, marking a 30% increase from the same period a year earlier. The government-managed technology hubs are home to companies providing advanced research, development, and manufacturing services. Semiconductor-related revenue accounted for more than 80% of total sales, reaching over US$91 billion as global demand for artificial intelligence hardware continues to surge. The Cabinet agency overseeing the parks says the three largest ones could contribute as much as 25% of Taiwan’s GDP by the end of the year.
