Survey Finds Over Half of Minors in Taiwan Unaware of Online Dangers

A survey by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families found that over half of minors using social media in Taiwan are unaware of basic digital safety practices. Over half of respondents didn't know how to access their privacy settings, and thought sharing personal details online was normal. Experts say sharing personal information could increase their vulnerability to scams, identity theft or in-person harassment.
