New PLA Fighter Seen in Action
China’s Airforce sent 52 warplanes into Taiwan’s air defense zone over the last 2 days. This latest incursion included an upgraded electronic warfare plane not previously seen. The J-16-D fighter jet is capable of intelligence-gathering and interfering with radar systems. Our reporter Jaime Ocon spoke with defense analyst Gerald C. Brown about what this new plane can do.
