Taiwan Expels Four Chinese Coast Guard Ships Near Kinmen on Eve of National Day

Taiwan’s coast guard dispatched vessels on Friday to expel four Chinese coast guard ships that entered restricted waters around Kinmen ahead of Taiwan’s National Day. The Chinese vessels later left the area. Separately, Taiwan’s defense ministry detected nine Chinese vessels and 21 military aircraft around Taiwan between Friday and Saturday morning.

Taiwan’s coast guard dispatched vessels on Friday morning to expel the four Chinese ships and prevent further incursions. The ships later left the area. Separately, Taiwan’s defense ministry detected nine Chinese vessels and 21 military aircraft around Taiwan between Friday and Saturday morning. Thirteen of the aircraft flew closer to Taiwan’s main island.
